video game design
For Grades 7-12
A variety of One Day Studios staff take over this class based around teaching video game design skills. Video game design incorporates illustration, animation, coding, writing, teamwork, music composition, sound design, engineering, and much more. Students are encouraged to take on a 'role' within the production team to learn the in's and out's of working within a co-operative environment towards the same goal.
Tuesday | 4pm to 5.30pm


illustration & storytelling
Maiya takes this class centered around character design, illustration, and writing stories. Discover new mediums to tell stories in, such as stop motion, zines, comics, and animation. Students will gain knowledge of storytelling techniques, how to create unique and interesting characters, and embark on short projects that will test their organisation and teamwork.

For ages 15-25
Do you need somewhere to work on your creative projects amongst like-minded people? Side Quests Inc is for you! Bring your incomplete artwork, manuscript, model kit, whatever you like - and we can hang out and help you with it! This isn't a class with a lesson plan, it's expert mentors giving you great advice and solutions to your existing projects. We can even start you on something new! Please note participants 18 years and older are required to have a valid WWCC to participate.

For Grades 4-6
Join Greta and Chelsea weekly for different activities and small projects! You'll find activities that involve drawing, animation, stop-motion, graphic design, as well as games that incorporate illustration, mathematics, and team building. Students are encouraged to try new things, design their own characters, and make new friends in a relaxed classroom environment.
